Percussion Ensemble

Percussion Ensemble (Grades 4-10)

Are you tired of always playing in the back of the band? If so, percussion ensemble is for you! This ensemble provides a great opportunity for percussion students to play independently while developing ensemble skills. Percussion ensemble literature is designed to enhance a student’s musicianship in all areas of percussion playing. Students will play a variety of instruments. Percussion ensemble complements school band programs and private lessons.

Two years of percussion playing and a successful audition with the ensemble director is required. The final class consists of a warm-up rehearsal and performance.
