Exciting Expansion News!
I am thrilled to announce that the WCMS Board of Trustees has officially approved the building expansion to move forward! This exciting development means that construction will begin in early 2025. The new performance hall wing of the music school allows us to enhance our offerings and create an even more inclusive environment for all music lovers for generations to come.

This expansion aligns perfectly with WCMS’s mission to provide outstanding and accessible music education and performance for everyone. With our new and improved facilities, we can foster collaboration among musicians, create vibrant community events, and inspire a new generation of artists. Together, let’s make music that resonates throughout our community and beyond!

Look for “Coffee and Conversations with Laurie” starting in January. These will be informal drop in events to hear about all the fabulous things happening at WCMS, as well as a bird’s eye view of the construction site from my office window.
