For teens and adults. Rediscover the classic sounds of the Motown bands. Learn and perform great soul, R&B, and funk hits from the 60’s and 70’s. The group can consist of horns, vocals, keyboard, guitar, bass, and drums.

Join us for a 6-week summer session! Work together to learn how to read chord charts, put together a song list, run a rehearsal, and prepare for a gig.
In music theory classes, our goal is to instill a deep appreciation and understanding of music in all of our students. In Music Theory: Fundamentals, we start with the essential building blocks of music and move on to advanced concepts.
For older children, teens, and adults. For all lovers of jazz, our jazz ensembles consist of a rhythm section, including bass and percussion, and at least one of the following instruments: guitar, piano, brass, woodwind, string, and voice. Throughout the semester, students are coached weekly and learn, develop, and improve improvisation skills.
For ages 11-18. Come learn the ins-and-outs of playing with a rock band! You’ll learn how to read chord charts, work together with your band members, put a song list together, and prepare to play for an audience.
Our Adult Rock Bands are geared towards the advanced beginner/intermediate adult player who is interested in jamming on his or her favorite tunes in a fun but challenging atmosphere with like-minded players.
For teens and adults. Meet other musicians who share a love of the blues, learn to play in a band, and perform for family and friends at the end of the semester.
For teens and adults. Participate in a rock band and learn to read chord charts, put a song list together, and prepare to perform for an audience. You’ll play hits from classic rock, great blues artists, and today’s bands. Horn players welcome.
Our faculty members are accomplished professionals in many genres including classical, jazz, rock, folk, blues, country, and popular music.
