Dahee Park is a concert pianist from South Korea, actively performing both solo and chamber music in the Boston area. Known for her vibrant artistry and collaborative spirit, she has performed in diverse settings around the world. During her time in New York, she was an active chamber musician, including participating in “An Evening with Steven Isserlis,” a concert hosted by the Violoncello Society, Inc. of New York. In South Korea, she contributed to community outreach by performing in the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra’s out-reaching concert series, bringing classical music to underserved audiences.
She has earned several prestigious accolades, such as winning the Artur Balsam Duo Competition at the Manhattan School of Music. Later, she won the Boston University at Carnegie Hall Competition, which led to her performing at the iconic Carnegie Hall.
In addition to her career as a performer, Dahee Park is a dedicated educator. She served as the Staff Pianist for the Baroque Ensemble Music Festival and was a piano faculty member at Sunhwa Art School in South Korea. Currently, she is on the faculty at Winchester Community Music School, where she is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of musicians. She also works as an Instrumental Staff Pianist at both Boston University and the Boston Conservatory at Berklee, collaborating with and inspiring students from around the world.
Dahee Park’s strong academic foundation underpins her artistic and educational achievements. She pursued her piano studies at Yonsei University as a scholarship student, majoring in solo piano, and later earned a master’s degree in collaborative piano from the Manhattan School of Music. She completed her doctoral studies in collaborative piano at Boston University.
