Be a Volunteer!

Many hands make light work and beautiful music! Whether you have an hour to bake cookies, a morning to stuff envelopes for a mailing, or an afternoon to ensure that a special event runs smoothly, WCMS can use your help. We need many talents, and every contribution helps us achieve our mission.

As a volunteer, you automatically become a member of the WCMS Encore Volunteer group, which includes individuals of all ages who are willing to lend a hand in ways small or large (you decide!) with special events and performances. Encore provides a wonderful opportunity to meet friends, students, and supporters of WCMS, all working together toward a common goal.

We periodically send out emails to ask for help with specific events, and volunteers can choose the exact time slot and task that suits them via SignUp Genius. You can pick a specific task by simply adding your name to the list, or create a SignUp Genius account to receive email reminders as the event approaches. Choose a one-time job, or opt to help us with a variety of events throughout the year.

Current Opportunities:

March 16, 2025: Faculty Concert with guest Sol y Canto. Come help with easy event logistics, and receive a free ticket to the concert.

March 17-22, 2025: Teacher Appreciation Week. Help us provide a special week with great food for our teachers.

May 4, 2025: Music MAYnia! As always, loads of fun and lots of volunteers needed. Receive a free t-shirt, food, and refreshments!
