Jazz Ensembles (All ages)

For all lovers of jazz, Jazz Ensembles consist of a rhythm section, including bass and percussion, and at least one of the following instruments: guitar, piano, brass, woodwind, string, and voice. Throughout the semester, students—kids, teens, and adults—are coached weekly and learn, develop, and improve improvisation skills.

Fall session begins: The week of September 18, 2017

Tuition per semester: $425.25 (15 one-hour classes); 10% discount for WCMS private lessons students

Days/Times: To be arranged with instructors after the initial audition and availability of all interested candidates. The final class of each semester consists of a warm-up rehearsal and performance.

Audition Requirements: Scale of your choice; musical selection currently being studied; improvisation.
